A real thinker!

Man, I really enjoyed life group tonight.  The scripture was Ephesians 4:1-13.  Some of the questions that were raised were very convicting and even thought provoking, but I guess the question that stuck with me was this:  Are the churches of today comprised of uniformity or unity?  So, here goes, what do you think and why?

I am so thankful for the people God has brought across my path, good or bad, I am still thankful!

I hope this question makes you stop and think of where you stand in your service to God.

God bless all and remember, when you wake up in the morning, your day belongs to the Lord.  Let Him make it what you need!

WOW!

As I woke up this morning @ around 5:45, I opened up the devotional book (Addicted to God) that I have been reading and the title was AMAZING GRACE.  I couldn’t do anything but smile, when I realized that God has been showing me His wonderful Grace in every aspect of my life lately.  As I was reading through the scriptures, I came across 2 Timothy 2:1 and realized what God has been trying to tell me:  therefore, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.  It hit me, BE STRONG because the world wants to tear us down, but we are to remember to show grace to those that would do so, just as Christ has showed us grace.

Today has definitely been a day for strength (and grace).  Kids have just been going nuts around here (school).  They just don’t seem to see that there is a whole world outside of their little zone.  They have no understanding that what they say and do now is going to affect them later.  I just pray that God allows His faithful followers to open up their eyes, so they can see what is going on around them.

I enjoyed Ken’s message last night out of 1st Peter.  I can’t wait to see what he is going to bring next week.  (It is suppose to be on  wives being submissive to your husbands.)  I am so going to enjoy hearing this!!!

I can’t wait til Life Group tonight!  I so need some God praisin’ and liftin’ after a workday like today!  See y’all later!!!  Lots o’ Love!

Hello world!

Well, this is my first post on my first blog. I guess today is full of firsts for me. I have been encouraged by so many people that God has brought into my life and two of them are the reason that I am posting tonight. Thank you Julie and Cherie. God has truly blessed you with a servant’s heart and you both have been such an inspiration to me over the last year to year and 1/2. God has all of His richest blessings waiting to pour out on you.
  As I was reading tonight, I read this scripture and I felt like this would be a great start of this new adventure:

 For by grace are you saved through faith;

and that not of yourselves: IT IS the gift of GOD!

Paul wrote of the grace of God in Ephesians 2:8, and I am so thankful for the grace that God has given me today.  I (just like all humankind) deserve the fiery pit of hell, but Praise Him, by His wonderful grace, I will see Heaven (and Him) one day.  My prayer is that the world will fall to their knees in repentance and experience the awesome power of God. 

Yes, He has allowed trials to come my way each day, but I know that He has only done it to make me look to Him for strenghth and guidance.  Through His Word, I find myself leaning more and more on Him each minute, hour and day. 

May we all find ourselves PRAISING GOD for the grace that He has shown such an undeserving world of sinners.  PRAISE GOD for making me white as snow!!!
